Elyssa Bustamante, “The Funky Latina,” is a Phoenix-based event producer, host, curator, and the founder of the Funky Latina Music Festival. Since launching the festival in 2022, she has created one of Arizona’s leading platforms for emerging Latin indie artists and community-centered cultural programming. Her journey as a festival producer is highlighted in the documentary The Funky Latina. She also serves as an executive producer on the documentary Street Smart: Lessons from a TV Icon. Her work spans brand collaborations, community stages, and a podcast spotlighting emerging artists. She’s been recognized as a rising Latino leader and cultural voice in Arizona.
