On Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 10:00AM EST, US Congresswoman Madeleine Dean’s office will host a webinar in partnership with the Alliance for Electric School Buses to share information about EPA’s Clean School Bus (CSB) Program. Mark “J.J.” Carnes, from Steelton-Highspire School District and a member of Generation180’s School Leader in Clean Energy Network, will share his experience applying for the first round of CSB rebates and how his district plans to study the health benefits the electric school buses provide to the community.

The CSB program funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, seeks to help school districts replace existing school buses with zero-emission and low-emission models. Applications for the third round of CSB funding close at 4:00 PM EST on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
