Wishing to have a larger impact on the larger K-12 system, she began her nonprofit work at the Center for Green Schools at USGBC where she worked to communicate and provide resources on implementing whole school sustainability practices to school leaders. After four years of refining her communication and facilitation skills in the nonprofit sector, Kristen joined Generation180 to inspire and equip school leaders in taking action on clean energy in their district. She enjoys working with passionate individuals and spending her time outdoors with her two dogs.
