As Energy Advisor, Greg will engage and support school leaders and mentor schools on his ‘Reduce and Produce’ philosophy. Greg brings nearly two decades of experience in energy management at school districts and a deep commitment to practical sustainability and student engagement. At Salt Lake City School District, Greg reduced the annual utility spending by $1.1 million and helped reduce the district’s CO₂ emissions by 30%. He led the district to install 3.5 MW of solar capacity across 18 schools and to become one of the first school districts in the country to utilize elective pay to receive a $1.22 million federal tax credit for solar energy. He also managed a $40 million portfolio of energy efficiency, water conservation, and solar energy projects. Greg earned a B.S. in Business Administration and Management from Rutgers University and a MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
