Janet brings a strong background in non-profit finance, data analytics, and sustainability policy to Generation180. As a graduate of the University of Virginia’s College of Arts and Sciences and Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, she is eager to create change here in Charlottesville and across the country. Janet joins us with experience in environmental nonprofit work; she prepared her graduate thesis in the form of an applied policy project for the Nature Conservancy’s West Virginia chapter and previously interned with The Wilderness Society. Her work with the Nature Conservancy, where she analyzed residential solar uptake and the potential for catalyzing change at the community level through rooftop solar installations, inspired her to continue advocating for the renewable energy transition. She brings expertise in data management and analysis to advance clean energy initiatives through our Electrify Our Schools Program.
