In January 2026, Phoenix came alive with creativity, culture, and clean energy inspiration as 11 Latino storytellers gathered. This in-person training brought together artists and community voices to learn from clean energy experts (and each other) and begin to create new positive, climate stories rooted in local experience.
Climate Cultura launched with a pilot cohort in Atlanta, Georgia, in June 2024 with eight Atlanta-based Latino fellows including filmmakers, comedians, writers, and digital creators. The program focused on climate impacts on communities of color, clean energy solutions and the Inflation Reduction Act, and disinformation targeting Latino communities.
