Mike Rios is the Associate Director of Transportation & Vehicle Services for Austin ISD. Mike joined the district in 2011, serving as a School Bus Driver, Coordinator/Trainer, Safety Supervisor, Operations Supervisor and has been in his current role since August 2016. He oversees a department of 580 employees, 500 school buses and 375 bus routes including general & special needs. His primary objective is to serve the needs of the students of Austin ISD and community, with safety as the highest priority.
