We’re excited to announce that we’ve partnered with fellow nonprofit Project Drawdown by joining the Drawdown Coalition—a growing network of over 200 researchers, business leaders, policy makers, and solution implementers working towards the most comprehensive plan ever proposed to reverse global warming: Drawdown.

What’s “Drawdown”?

“Drawdown” is three things: a scientific term, a book, and a nonprofit organization.

The term comes from climatology and describes the point at which carbon levels in the atmosphere start declining. The book, Drawdown, a New York Times bestseller last year, is a thoroughly-researched compilation of the 100 most substantive, existing solutions to achieve the point of “drawdown” in our atmosphere. The organization, named Project Drawdown, has begun assembling a coalition whose members are researching, communicating, disseminating, and leveraging Project Drawdown’s research, with an aim toward accelerating the implementation of solutions worldwide.

How Does Generation180 Fit In?
