Tish leads Generation180’s national program to electrify K-12 school campuses and power them with clean energy. For over two decades, she has motivated and developed sustainable solutions for the nonprofit, public, and private sectors. Tish has consulted localities to improve solar energy policies and advised Fortune 500 companies on sustainable product design. She has also worked on national environmental advocacy campaigns to prevent fracking and gas pipelines on public lands and block offshore oil drilling in the Atlantic Ocean. She brings her passion for supporting schools as a parent and former public school teacher. Tish taught environmental studies at a charter high school in Los Angeles that specializes in helping young people in low-income communities of color develop green-collar job skills. She holds a M.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University, M.A. in Secondary Education from Loyola Marymount University, and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Virginia.
