Letter to the Editor
Letters to the Editor (LTEs) are powerful tools that can shape public opinion and increase awareness of issues that matter to you. Clean energy advocates should customize this LTE Template to rally their community about the many benefits of electrification as part of the Inflation Reduction Act.
Letters to the Editor are usually 150-250 words and sent by email. Typically publications’ websites will have a section on LTEs and who to send them to. Be sure to follow your local newspaper’s guidelines, including word count. To increase the chances of getting published, try making your story personal and share how electrification has worked for you. Good luck!
Did you submit an LTE, and was it published? Be sure to tell us at hello@generation180.org so we can share it and celebrate your win!
