Bryant Shaw has led Dallas Independent School District’s sustainability initiative since 2019. Authorized by the board of trustees 2020 resolution on climate change and sustainability, he has co-chaired the district’s Environmental and Sustainability stakeholders’ committee working to update and amend Dallas ISD policies on energy, water, construction, and climate change. On the construction design review team, he ensures the application of Collaborative for High Performing Schools criteria and completion of the CHPS scorecard for each construction project.
