As the Sustainability and Energy Manager at Salt Lake City School District, Greg manages the $5.6 million utility budget with a focus on energy conservation and efficiency. He manages the $29.5 million Energy Saving Performance Contract, including a district-wide upgrade to LED lighting with advanced controls and installation of 1 MW arrays across 6 schools. With top honors from the EPA Energy Star Program as Partner of the Year in 2011, he’s reduced the district’s energy use intensity by 12% and CO2 emissions by 30%, saving more than $3.5 million.
