Kate Crosby has served as the Energy Manager for the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District for 12 years. She manages a wide variety of energy and sustainability initiatives, including the transition to the District’s all-electric geothermal Zero Net Energy school building in 2022. She was recognized with a Leading By Example award by the MA Department of Energy Resources, and is a member of the MA Green Communities Advisory Council. She is the lead author of “Powering Down: A Toolkit for Behavior-Based Energy Conservation in K-12 Schools,” a USGBC publication.
