Pamela Boozer-Strother is a School Board member of Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS), the 20th largest school system in the nation with more than 250 buildings, 1,000 buses and 132,000 students. In 2021, the PGCPS Board of Education set environmental justice and green career curriculum goals as well as clean energy, zero waste and stormwater management goals. Pamela then co-chaired the Board’s Climate Change Action Plan Focus Work Group that produced the Climate Change Action Plan, which was adopted by the Board in 2022.
