Generation180 led the research and data analysis fora new report, CLEARING THE AIR: Protecting Pennsylvania’s Children from Diesel Pollution, which identifies hundreds of youth-serving spaces (schools, parks, and childcare centers) that are located near major interstate trucking corridors in Pennsylvania. The report outlines the health impacts of diesel pollution and actionable strategies to protect kids from the acute risks of diesel pollution and create healthier learning environments.
Electric school buses cruise into Pennsylvania
With nearly 450 electric school buses (ESBs) set to be deployed statewide, backed by funding from the EPA’s Clean School Bus Program and state grant initiatives, Pennsylvania proudly ranks among the top 10 states for ESB commitments.
