Spotlight on Lynchburg City Schools
Lynchburg City Schools is leading Virginia in the transition to electric school buses with a third of their bus operations currently electric. Through funding from the EPA’s Clean School Bus Rebates, the district has secured funding for and deployed 25 electric school buses with plans for expansion.
Virginia leads nationwide in deploying electric school buses
Virginia is one of the top 5 states in the country for electric school bus deployment, with over 300 electric school buses being deployed across the state, with support from the EPA’s Clean School Bus Program.
