Hope Watts

Hope Watts, Director of Transportation at Lynchburg City Schools in Virginia, has led the district through the transition of a third of their bus fleet to electric. Through funding from the EPA’s Clean School Bus Rebates, Hope has secured funding for and deployed 25 electric school buses with plans for expansion.

School Leadership in Clean Energy Celebrated at the White House

Generation180 and SLICE Network Members participated in the first-ever White House Summit for Sustainable and Healthy K-12 School Buildings and Grounds on April 2024. School leaders across the United States who are trailblazing the movement to create healthy and sustainable schools shared their perspectives and were celebrated.
