Leader Spotlight:
Karly Pulido

Karly Pulido, Sustainability Officer of Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS), has made significant contributions toward the district’s goal of 100% clean energy by 2030. M-DCPS is now a nationwide leader in school transportation electrification with 100 electric school buses currently on the road or on order. Karly recently helped the district win a $19.75 million grant from the EPA’s Clean School Bus Program to cover the costs of 50 ESBs and 16 fast chargers

School Leadership in Clean Energy Celebrated at the White House

Generation180 and SLICE Network Members participated in the first-ever White House Summit for Sustainable and Healthy K-12 School Buildings and Grounds on April 2024. School leaders across the United States who are trailblazing the movement to create healthy and sustainable schools shared their perspectives and were celebrated.
